Stripes, Waves or Loops?

Personal Commentary.

There are a total of three car launches today in which two of them have already been revealed sometime back. I know I did a post on the FW37 in my post, Familiar yet Different, but it seems like I did not do any on the W06. I did post something about the secret Silverstone test the two Mercedes drivers participated but it is just a screenshot pic of Nico Rosberg's tweet that shows him driving "the new silver arrow for the first time". Same like the STR10, the 2015 contender looks close to its predecessor and there has been a nose job made to the W06. Other than that, it appears that the rest of the body may have received some modifications. It has the best looking nose this year. I like how simple and clean cut the nose has been shaped. (Y)

I am sure everyone has seen the shocking reveal of the RB11. ;p I thought they would have a car reveal outside their pits but it appears to be that they chose to use the social media approach. It is a breathtaking sight, isn't it? No, I wasn't trying to be sarcastic. I really LOVE the livery. My initial response was to check if what I was seeing was just some sort of Red Bull competition the team may be organising, a "design the RB11" for a special GP they have picked to use later on as its livery. Turns out, the monochrome approach Red Bull has shown to the world is just a technique to stir curiosity on what has Adrian Newey and the engineering team have come up with this time round. Tagged #CamoBull, the different patterns on the car is intended to keep the actual RB11 under covers, concealing whatever development in progress away from the public eyes until further notice. I can see a divide in opinions on the new look Red Bull has surprised the fans with early today. I personally see it like a canvas of marker pen doodle. I love the design, yes, but I would have loved it more if they used the colours of Red Bull and Infiniti: red, blue, yellow and purple, to fill up some of the spaces and give it a more hip look. Splashes of the colours will be enough for the artsy look. Sadly, this bull in the disguise of a zebra won't be donning this till the end of the season. It is a temporary livery used only during the winter test. :(

This therefore marks the end of the car launches. Is it too early to actually give up on seeing the Marussia and Caterham joining us for another year? :( Can't help recalling the past season where we got to see Max Chilton, Jules Bianchi with the MR03 and Marcus Ericsson, Kamui Kobayashi with the CT05. They have buried themselves deep in my heart for me to let go. </3 Here is hoping they will be able to return racing and if they do not, may they find all the resources and try again next year. Over and above that, #ForzaJules and #ForzaMichael.
